Full day intensive | Live fire + force-on-force | Max 4-8 students
A comprehensive day analyzing the evolution of close-range gunfighting—from direct contact to slightly extended distances. Led by Dawid Fajer, an instructor with 20+ years of tactical experience who has trained 500+ students from 10+ countries, including operators from GROM Special Forces and Police Counter-Terrorism units. This course bridges the gap between hand-to-hand combat and firearms, preparing you for the chaotic reality where both merge.
The goal is to build fundamental skills that ensure confidence and enable appropriate responses in any close-contact situation. You'll develop instinctive reactions for scenarios where distance collapses and traditional shooting fundamentals don't apply—where survival depends on integrating weapon access, retention, and combatives.
You'll train weapon storage and recovery under pressure, program defensive options in the clinch, and develop striking mechanics at close range. The curriculum emphasizes balance and stability in both standing and grounded positions, teaching you to maintain weapon control while managing an opponent's attempts to control you.
Close-contact shooting techniques include weapon concealment, proper positioning during a struggle, and tactical use of knife or firearm while engaged in physical combat. This isn't sport shooting—it's preparing for the worst-case scenario where shooting and fighting happen simultaneously.
The day closes with optional but highly encouraged simunition scenarios. Full protective gear, marking rounds, live pressure. This is where experience is built. Curriculum integrates military, special forces, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, and knife fighting methodology.
